Carrots

To try and combat the dreaded Carrot White Fly I am growing my carrots 1m above ground. The theory being that is above the White Fly's ceiling.

Oh Boy has it been a tad warm !

So warm in fact that an urgent modification was needed to the Polly Tunnel.

A window has now been added made from a pair of old kitchen cabinet doors.

Netting on the Brasica Cage

I got the netting on the frame to keep the Cabbage White Fly out

Another Row of Peas

Another row of peas go in. This time its Pisello Rampicante Telefono. A very tall Italian variety. I have grown these for the past two years and I'm very pleased with them.

Preparing for Brassicas

First Early Potatoes Go In

Aron Pilot 1st Earlies in and mounded up to protect against frost
